I’ve always adored my Brazilian heritage and wanted to get closer to the culture in the most engaging way possible: movement. Marizete has been my instructor in Samba dancing for an extended period of time, and I’m taken aback by her grace, professionalism, and patience for my beginner status. I feel that she has met me at my pace and truly helped connect the gaps where I still learn to grasp the essence of Samba dancing.  Marizete has the warmest heart and grace of a lifetime of experience in dancing, and I plan to continue to dance with her for as long as I possibly can!
